Our Story

Formerly operational under the “Indo Global Education Summit and Expo” moniker, over the past decade, we have helped connect over 150 foreign universities to several thousand students in India. In 2009, we collaborated with the Indus Foundation to deliver the first Indo Global Education Summit and Expo. The objective of this event was to bring about academic collaborations between Indian and foreign universities, besides recruiting students interested in studying abroad or in India. After the success of our first summit and expo, we decided to make it an annual event and rest, as they say, is history! Over the years, realizing the increasing need for micro events, we have reformed our operations from a large scale, multi-university approach to a more refined and small-scale operation that guarantees your efforts to yield better results. And thus, the idea for the Indo Global Tour was born.

We strive to create a valued platform for students and universities to connect and are committed to delivering the highest value while maintaining a standard that sets us apart.

FAQs

What does a typical day on the tour look like?

After breakfast, an Indo Global Tour representative will meet you at the hotel. We then travel to our first high school or university and meet with students. The visit begins with a short welcome (either by the host institution or by an Indo Global Tour representative) followed by a brief round of introductions. Representatives make a presentation about their university which typically lasts about 5-7 minutes. The rest of the time is allotted for representative and student interaction. A visit may last anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours. Representatives will also meet with leadership and faculty members of the host institution during the visit.

How many students will we interact with?

Although the number varies between each tour, we typically see interactions range between 800-1000 students. With five cities and at least ten host institutions, we try to ensure your reach is maximized in every tour.

How many other representatives will be on the tour?

Our operations have been tweaked to align with our guiding principle of smaller is bigger. There are multiple tours out there that pack multiple representatives into one tour. However, we at Indo Global, have realized that smaller tours are a lot more efficient – both for you and the student. Each tour typically has around 10-12 representatives.

How much does it cost?

We offer two options to participate in the tour:

The all-inclusive Early Bird Special at USD 3,500. Regular fee at USD 5,000. This fee includes participation in all five cities, as well as domestic flights, hotels and ground transportation.

The no-frills Early Bird Special at USD 400. Regular fee at USD 650 per city. Minimum participation in three cities required. This fee grants you full access to the tour at the visiting schools for the cities you select. You would be responsible for flights, hotels, food, transportation, etc.

**EARLY BIRD DEADLINE: JULY 31, 2019**

Can representatives seek partnerships with host institutions?

One of they key elements of the tour, besides student recruitment, is seeking out partnerships with Indian institutions. Creating partnerships with such institutions helps you to build a better base in India to further your recruitment efforts. Academic collaborations, study away programs and student exchange conversations with host institutions are encouraged.
